2nd Tuesday PJ Welihan's Pub Runs!!

Details Like good beer? Crave great wings? Dabble in some running?? Well, we definitely do! We conjured up the idea of combining all of these wonderful things. Then we added some friends in the mix, and made a recipe to the best ending to a wonderful day!! PJWAC is having a SUMMER PATIO SERIES, open to the public. All ages are encouraged to participate. Runs will be held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 7 PM, festivities start at 6pm. (Shoe demos and such) This will be a 3-5 mile FUN RUN. Participants are asked to meet at PJ's on the patio at 6:30pm and together will leave promptly at 7:00 pm for the adventure. The run will end back at the patio at for some proper beer or proper hydration, however you want tolook at it. Upon return to PJ's, any participants 21 years of age or older (with proper identification) have a rightfully earned 22oz PJ's Cooper Lager waiting for them on us! Don't forget to wash down those bubbles with some 1/2 Price Wings or try anything from our famous menu. We want everyone to mingle and make some new friends that love exactly what you do! ARS has officially partnered with Corps Fitness!  This is an exciting opportunity for both local businesses to help expand their presence in the community and provide new programs that benefit everyone. Starting Tuesday, February 7th, our Functional Running Strength series kicks off at Corps Fitness! Time: 6:30pm Frequency: Every Tuesday evening Cost: $10 Drop-In or 10 class punch card for $90 Benefits: This class will be designed specifically for runners in order to improve overall functional strength, muscular and postural imbalances, and running economy when it comes to performance. Thursday Night Track Club!!

Thursday night track workouts run from the beginning of April (April 14th, 2017) through the end of September.  The track workouts will be led by store staff.  On occasion, there will be a hill workout thrown into the mix to add some variety and a change of scenery.  The workout will always consist of an easy warm-up jog, a thorough dynamic stretching routine pre-workout, the actual workout, an easy cool-down jog, and finally some light static stretching.  Any ability level is welcome, but it is strongly encouraged that you have a solid endurance base in order to avoid potential injuries and to maximize your ability to appropriately train for speed and strength.  If you need some motivation as well as that extra push, this is the right place for you!  Faster performance times guaranteed!
